The audiences were surprised to stumble across the clip under the Scream 6 hashtag and have warned others to stay off the platform to avoid unearthing major spoilers potentially.
While the clip definitely looks like it’s from the 2023 sequel – the actors are there etc. – some fans are arguing that it may be a fake killer reveal to throw off viewers.
A fabricated spoiler, if you will, as a fake script for Scream 2 was leaked when that was released, designed to surprise audiences when they released they hadn’t seen the actual script.
