MLW Slaughterhouse Results (10/14): Alex Kane vs. Tom Lawlor
On October 14, Major League Wrestling presented MLW Slaughterhouse from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Among other matches, Alex Kane defended the MLW World Heavyweight Championship against Tom Lawlor.
The results are as follows:
The two teams start brawling outside of the cage before the match officially begins. Second Gear Crew takes control and dishes out some punishment with chairs. The match finally gets in the ring, and the bout officially begins. Warner and Justice double-team Cannonball. Talon gets slammed through a board. Talon and Cannonball rally and gain the upper hand. Cannonball slices Warner with some paper.
Justice fires up with a chair. Warner piledrives Talon onto a pumpkin. He puts a pumpkin on Cannonball’s head, and Justice hits him with a chair. Justice leaps off the cage and crashed through a board onto Cannonball. Warner pits Talon in an electric chair, and Justice flips the switch so Talon gets electrocuted, so Second Gear Crew wins.

Backstage, Salina de la Renta, alongside Rocky Romero, discusses his upcoming title match against AKIRA.
1 Called Manders spins the wheel, which lands on a Falls Count Anywhere match for his bout against Rickey Shane Page.
Jesus Rodriguez comes out before the match and gives Rocky Romero a special introduction. AKIRA and Romero trade strikes and feel each other out. AKIRA gains the advantage and controls the action. Romero slams AKIRA at ringside and takes control. Back in the ring, Romero continues to ground AKIRA. Romero stretches AKIRA in an Octopus-like hold. AKIRA turns the tables and wrenches Romero in a submission hold. Romero transitions and locks in an arm-bar.
AKIRA rallies and takes some forearms from Romero. He trades blows with Romero. AKIRA rocks Romero with a kick. He unloads on Romero with some strikes and dumps him with a German suplex. AKIRA traps Romero in an ankle lock and transitions into an STF. Salina distracts AKIRA and shoves him into some of his Calling henchmen.
Romero dives onto AKIRA and hits a running Sliced Bread. AKIRA takes control again. An avalanche Sliced Rocky gets Romero a two count. Romero hits AKIRA below the belt and hits the sunset driver for the win.
Page attacks Manders during his entrance and gains an early advantage. Page continues to maintain the upper hand. Manders takes control. He throws a chair at Page. Manders slams Page onto some chairs. Some masked men from The Calling attack Manders, and he fights them off.
The challenger chokes Page, and the fight heads backstage, and the camera doesn’t follow them. The broadcast team moves onto the next match. The camera shows the two stars fighting backstage.
The Phantom Challenger is revealed to be Janai Kai.
Kai and Exo feel each other out early on. Exo takes control, but Salina de la Renta distracts her. Kai drills Exo with some strikes. Exo rallies with a German suplex. Exo fires up with a flurry of offense. Kai dumps Exo with a throw.
Exo drops Kai with a clothesline. Kai drills Exo with some kicks and locks in a Dragon Sleeper. Exo taps out, so Exo wins the gold.
Manders and Page keep brawling elsewhere in the arena.
Fatu and Suzuki square off and feel each other out. They trade blows. The two stars continue to duke it out. Suzuki briefly locks in an armbar. The bout spills out of the ring, and Suzuki takes control. Back in the ring, Suzuki traps Fatu in a leglock. Fatu vaults off the ropes and crushes Suzuki. Suzuki blasts Fatu with a kick. They trade stiff shots. Fatu gets a two count with a Falcon Arrow. Suzuki catches Fatu in a sleeper and spikes him with a Gotch-style piledriver for the win.

Page and Manders are shown fighting in a ring truck. They brawl back into the arena. The action returns to the ring. Page gets a two count with a splash. Manders suplexes Page on the floor. Manders hits Page with tombstones from the set on the stage and chokes him with one. The challenger sends Page through a board with a spinebuster.
AKIRA comes out, but Manders takes him down with a clothesline. Page hits a Raven Effect on the floor for the win.
Page and AKIRA argue after the match, and Page shoves AKIRA down. Page walks away by himself.
Kane and Lawlor square off and battle for positioning. The match is a stalemate early on. Kane dumps Lawlor with a throw. Lawlor takes control and overpowers Kane. The challenger runs around the ring and kicks Kane. Lawlor grounds Kane and targets his arm. Lawlor maintains the advantage. Kane floors Lawlor with a suplex. Lawlor traps Kane in an arm-bar. Kane gets a two-count with a T-bone suplex. Lawlor slams Kane with a suplex. Kane catches a kick and traps Lawlor in a single-leg crab.
Lawlor transitions into a triangle choke, but Kane escapes. Lawlor and Kane trade blows. The challenger rocks Lawlor with a kick and a knee to the head. Kane reverses a sleeper hold into a pin attempt and gets the three-count.
Matt Cardona confronts Alex Kane after the match. Kane says Cardona hasn’t proven himself in MLW yet. Cardona says he’s an ECW Original, so he should be the MLW World Heavyweight Champion in Philadelphia. Cardona says he wants to save MLW.
Kane and Cardona stare each other down. Lawlor attacks Kane from behind. Kane and Cardona brawl, and Lawlor fights with Mr. Thomas. The brawl continues as the show comes to an end.
